HISTORY

 

Started in 1984 as an Asian subsidiary of Mentor Graphics and engaged in design automation for electronics manufacturing, Mentor Media is today a leading Supply Chain Management solutions provider. Based on our own extensive experience with manufacturing, we have developed a chain of comprehensive, high value-add services to help our customers conceive ideas, develop products, build up brand names and expand market shares.

Standing behind our promise is a force comprising of innovative, committed and versatile professionals with an unwavering commitment to high quality and highly customer-focused operations. Adding to our strength is our strategic alliances with strong Global Logistics partners, forging a complete supply chain that delivers directly to channels and end-users, without delay and without fail.

Responding swiftly to the phenomenal growth of the e-economy, we have also strengthened our IT infrastructure, introducing powerful features like web-enabled order fulfillment system, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Web Reporting, and Live Manufacturing Data Tracking System to enhance information flow and real-time reporting to our customers.

2014

Mentor Media is acquired by Elanders Group of Sweden.

2010

Mentor Media Chongqing site was set up on 25 Jun 2009; increasing its China presence.
2009

Mentor Media opens its Juarez, Mexico site, expanding its presence in The Americas.
2008

Mentor Media Ontario’s California site goes “live” for North America coverage.

2006

Change of major shareholders and company turned private.

2005

Started operation in Suzhou and Yantai (China).

2004

Started operation in Songjiang and Kunshan (China).
Established operations for Microsoft CRC in Austin (USA).

2003

Started operation in Xiamen (China).

2002

Set up Microsoft CRC (COA Return Centre) in Singapore and Shanghai.

2001

Set up representative office in USA.

2000

Awarded Microsoft Authorized Replicator status.
Started operations in Taiwan, Korea and Shenzhen (China).

1999

Listed on Stock Exchange of Singapore.
Started operation in Shanghai (China).

1998

Awarded Singapore Enterprise 50 by Economic Development Board (36th position).

1993

Established as Mentor Media Pte Ltd.

1984

Started as Mentor Graphics Singapore Operations, subsidiary of Mentor Graphics Corporation, HQ in Oregon USA.
